The cottage is fully equipped and is absolutely ideal for a family beach holiday. It caters for the totally tranquil holiday away from the everyday bustle. There are three bedrooms, a double bed in one, three single beds in another and one single in the third. Two of the bedrooms have hand basins. There is also a sleeper couch (for two) in the curtained-off north end of the open-planned, living room, which also serves as the ‘TV Room’. The cottage is intended for a family of six: an additional couple can be accommodated on the curtained-off sleeper couch. Any of the beds may be shifted to suit requirements. So the cottage comfortably sleeps 6 with one or two on the futon to make 7 or 8 if required. Blankets and bedspreads are in the kist, there are 10 pillows but no linen or towels and not many dish cloths so please bring your own. There are no facilities for ironing at the cottage but there are two launderettes in the village. There is a tv and satellite dish so you may either bring your own decoder or enquire of us about renting one for any reception. The kitchen has a brand new stove, microwave, fridge/freezer and there is an extra chest freezer and small bar fridge. The bathroom has a bath and a shower with two separate toilets. There is a third toilet in the outside storeroom which houses the paddles and dolly for the canoe and where you may lock any bikes you choose to bring. Outside is a cold water shower for washing sand off from the beach. The lounge has a cosy wood burning fireplace. Sorry no pets. Daily rate varies between R650 and R1025 depending upon the season.
